Custom design details

While working with Bridge Boston Charter School to develop their new website, we wanted to include some custom design details that would bring a playful feel and reflect their core values. Our clients often need custom design assets to represent what they do and illustrate their culture. We always create them to be useable across many different platforms: websites, one-pagers, way-finding, annual reports, print collateral, etc.

Simple illustrations to reflect culture

On their home page we created a place to discuss their three pillars which are the foundation of their school. We wanted to be mindful of not depicting any one type of person in these illustrations, so they don’t have many details.

Each figure has one item associated with them that represents each of the pillars, a graduation cap for “academics”, an apple for “full service”, and two circles surrounding the figure for “whole child”.

We used colors from their brand style guide, and always create vector assets to make them adjustable for future use.

Style consistency

Throughout the website, we’ve created consistent hand-drawn design details to make it feel more joyful and personal.
